Millions of people around the world today are looking for their soul mate on the Internet. Thousands of honest, educated and gorgeous Russian women want to create happy families with Western men and thousands of Western men are looking for beautiful Russian women. This is so wonderful because love doesn't have to have borders and thanks to the Internet, it is now possible!

Unfortunately, there are many con artists and scammers on the Internet. They can be individual women or even marriage agencies. Some marriage agencies that don't have their own websites place profiles of their women clients on free websites. You think you can send emails to those women for free but after you email one of their ladies, you will receive an email from office staff, requesting a monthly credit card payment for your correspondence with that lady. After you give them your credit card details, they will charge your card even after you ask them to cancel their service.

It is usually very difficult to reach those agencies after they get your credit card details. Sometimes “free” scam agencies place pictures of beautiful models on free dating websites and then trick you into paying for correspondence that is actually written by their office staff.

There are also some individual Russian women scammers on free dating websites. They don't want your love. They just want your money. As you begin your search, it is sometimes very difficult to tell who is genuine and who is a scammer because very often they are skilful and experienced.

Actually, there are not very many different or original scams. The same old scams are just repeated over and over again. If you learn to recognize the warning signs and watch out for them, you can avoid being scammed.

 Most popular scam methods:

1. She hooks you with hot letters and sexy photos (usually not of her but some model instead). Then she very quickly seriously falls love with you (scammers always rush relationships so they can get the money more quickly) and suddenly some of her close relative (mother, sister, daughter) becomes sick or hurt in a car accident and she must pay for expensive medicine and she asking you for money.

2. She hooks you with hot letters and sexy photos. Then she very quickly falls deeply in love with you and asks you to pay for her expenses for an Internet and translator so she can continue her correspondence with you. Usually this is a relatively small amount, about $30 - $50 per month, but scammers with beautiful pictures on free sites can easily hook dozens of men per month. Considering the average salary in Russia and Ukraine (about $50 - $60 a month), this pays very well!

3. After just a few letters, she falls deeply in love with you and wants to visit you but she needs money to get her visa, international passport and airline ticket. This scam is the most expensive and can sometimes run as high as $3000. After you send her the money, she quickly disappears without a trace.

You never know with whom you are corresponding on free sites and because the sites are free, they have thousands of women's profiles to show you. Of course, not everyone listed on free sites is a scammer. For every scam artist, there are thousands of women who are genuine, honest and sincere.

We highly recommend that you don't send money to any woman you have not met in person!
